The Organizing Committee of the Global Cup – World Senior Volleyball Championships – Greece, with heavy heart has decided that due to the health crisis related to the COVID-19, the Global Cup 2020, held in Loutraki, Greece, will be cancelled for 2020.
“This was a very difficult decision, but given the circumstances, it is the right one,” said tournament director Babis Pelekis. “With a sense of responsibility and optimism, we’ll reschedule our date for 2021!”
The exact new dates and participation/accommodation packages will be announced in detail in August.
The organizing committee is grateful for the understanding of all parties involved.
